No really, this would be about anybody who voted early/absentee. If they die before the official election day should their vote count?

Different states handle this differently, which even though I'm a big states' rights fan kind of has sucky potential.

Sounds like a new soap opera, "The Dead and Disenfranchised".

If the vote was clearly cast before the persons death. (meaning recieved and counted before their demise) then of course. If it somehow postmarked after the date of the persons death, then you have a very tricky area because that is where you would most likely have a forged ballot.
